Gunplay has been improved in Riptide compared to DI1. Guns and ammo are more common, their attacks are more forceful (harpoon guns are fun!), and certain ammo can be retrieved and reused (which makes conservation a lot easier). Still, only Purna can use guns more effectively than melee weapons.
