The Apex Pro 6500 cartridges are designed to be drop-in replacements for the 790 Duke’s OEM WP units. As with the stock cartridges, the compression damping is handled by the left fork leg, and the rebound is managed by the right, giving complete separation of the two circuits. Unlike the OEM units, the 6500s also include preload adjustment.

I've done this once on the last oil change 4000 miles ago. I just change oil again with 550 miles remaining on the interval. But in following the procedures in the repair and owners manual, which provide different procedures, I can't change anything. I'm guessing it's because there was still 550 miles remaining from the previous setting.
The 790 community generally believes the clutch problems are due to a lack of lubrication and possibly because the oil filters are not picking up small amounts of debris that is then blocking the oil jet lubricating the clutch, however KTM REFUSES to engage with any of the owners who have had problems, making a resolution impossible to determine.
