The original BMPT Terminator was designed to be a combat support vehicle for urban combat. It's built on the chassis of a T-72, which makes it extremely heavy, coming in at 44 tons, right around that of a full T-72. Bradleys, for comparison, come in around 28 tons, and the BMP-2 is around 14 tons, roughly that of an M113. The BMPT is harder to kill than a BMP, but also not as fast or maneuverable.
